What are the main content ofa sales confirmation?

【Leading in】

A sales confirmation is a contract in simple form. There are two kinds of confirmation, sales confirmation and purchase confirmation. Usually it just gives out the general guarantee conditions.

【New lessen】

一、Key words

(一) contract     n. 合同、契约

v. 订立合同;承包

1、We always honor our contracts and keep our words.

我们一贯重合同,守信用。

2、You are to make the shipment  in October as contracted.

你应按合同所定的10月装船。

(二) draw          n. 草拟;制定

开出(汇票)

1、We will draw up the agreement in a day or two.

我们将在一两天内起草协议。

2、You may draw a clean draft on us for the value of this sample shipment.

你方可向我开出光票,收取这批样货价款。

(三) order        n.  订单;订货

v.  订购;订

1、We will accept your order if part shipments are allowed.

如果允许分批装运,我们可接受订单。

2、If you order immediately, we can probably collect this quantity.

如你方立即订购,我方也许能收集到此数量。

【Summary】

A sales confirmation, in simplest terms, is merely an agreement made by two or more parties for the purpose of transacting business. It is usually supplemented and restricted by laws that serve to protect the parties and to define specific relationships between them in the event that provisions are indefinite, ambiguous, or even missing.
