(1)保险利益原则
保险利益又称可保权益，是指投保人对保险标的物具有法律上承认的利益。国际货运它仅要求被保险人在保险标的物发生损失时必须具有保险利益，因此，在实际业务中，保险人可以视被保险人具有预期的保险利益而允许给予承保。
(2)最大诚信原则
最大诚信原则主要有两方面的要求：A重要事实的申报，B保证。
重要事实的申报是指投保人在投保时应将自己知道的或者在通常业务中应当知道的有关保险标的物的重要事实如实告知保险人，以便保险人判断是否同意承保或者决定承保的条件。保证是指被保险人的保险合同中所做的保证要做或不做某种事情，保证某种事情的存在或不存在，或保证履行某一条件。
(3)补偿原则
保险的补偿原则又称损害赔偿原则，是指当保险标的物在遭受保险责任范围内的损失时，保险人应当依照保险合同的约定履行赔偿义务。
(4)近因原则
近因原则是指保险人只对承保风险与保险标的物损失之间有直接因果关系负赔偿责任，而对保险责任范围外的风险造成的保险标的物的损失，不承担赔偿责任。
2. Insurance premium
(1)definition
A premium is the consideration that
an insurer receives from an insurer in exchange for undertaking to pay the
sum insured upon the accurance of the event insured against.

中文意思：保险费是指保险人向被保险人收取的，作为保险人保证支付承保风险造成的损失的对价。
(2)The general guiding rate of the
insurance premium is 1% of the amount insured.

amount insured:保险金额(= sum insured )
中文意思：通常的指导保险费率是保险金额的1%。(比如说，保险金额是100元，那么就收取1元的保险费)

(3)The premium rates may vary, for
example, from 0.5% to 1.5% or more or less depending on factors such as: type

专业知识介绍：
保险单简称为保单，是保险人与被保险人订立保险合同的正式书面证明。保险单必须完整地记载保险合同双方当事人的权利义务及责任。保险单记载的内容是合同双方履行的依据，保险单是保险合同成立的证明。
小保单是保险凭证的简称，又称保险条。保险凭证是保险人签发给投保人的，表明其已接受其投保的证明文件，是一种简化的保险单。保险凭证上不载明保单背面保险条款，其余内容与大保单完全相同。凡保险凭证上没有列明的内容均以同类的大保单为准。小保单的法律效力与大保单相同，但不能作为对保险人提出诉讼的依据，因而在国际市场上使用不多。在实务中，小保单一般由保险人签发，也可由保险经纪人作为预约保险单代为签发。
保险批单是指保险人签发的同意被保险人要求变更保险单内容的书面文件。它是保险人对投保人提出的补充或变更保险单的内容进行审核，同意后向投保人另出一种凭证，注明保险人对保险单的补充或更改内容。一般保险批单须粘贴在保险单上，并加盖骑缝章，作为保险单的一部分。保险批单是保险人与被保险人变更保险合同的证明文件，一经批改后，保险应按批改后的内容承担责任。
